Americans produce over 4 million tons of hazardous waste every year. Since 1997, KVAC Environmental has specialized in the removal of hazardous material across California safely and economically. We will fully service your hazardous material needs, whether it be liquid, sludge, or solids.
It is illegal in California to abandon hazardous waste or dump it in the trash or down the drain. KVAC Environmental has a centralized waste management facility that can safely handle your hazardous waste needs. We use liquid vacuum tankers and trucks, super suckers, vactors, jetters, end-dumps, vans, flatbeds, and other vehicles to haul off hazardous waste throughout California. Our liquid vacuum tankers are an economical way to transport hazardous waste off-site. Stainless steel tankers handle acids and corrosives.
Vactor trucks, also known as vacuum trucks, have suction lines that load slurries, sludge, liquids, and solids. Commercial vactors are 10-55 cubic meters in volume. Smaller vactors with low resource settings have tanks as little as 500 liters. KVAC Environmental uses vactors to help the petroleum industry clean storage tanks and spills. We also use vactors to remove drilling mud, drilling cuttings, cement, spills, and brine water from production tanks. Vactors can also clean out contaminated soil.
Our super suckers have high powered suction through lines 8 inches in diameter or smaller. A single-mode filtration system allows wet or dry material to be loaded without a changeover. The filter is also easy to access, and the bag is easy to remove. Super suckers are low maintenance with a one-step filter cleaning system.
Jetters are high powered drain cleaners that use high-pressure water jets to clear obstructions from commercial drain pipes and large municipal sewer systems. A jetter can carry up to 1,500 gallons of water for large sewer cleaning jobs. Jetters are a safe and thorough way to clean pipe blockages. Jetters can take care of all kinds of blockages (sediment, grease, hair, mineral build-up, tree roots, and debris).
End dumps get rid of the hazardous material from the back of the truck. Our end dumps have higher sides that can carry more cubic yards. End dumps can empty smaller amounts of hazardous material at a time. They are also good at dumping out sticky substances, such as bottom ash. End dumps are capable of unloading hazardous waste in tight spaces. End dumps are also useful for hauling away large demolition material.
Our professional drivers are contacted through a 24-hour central dispatch office. Each transportation employee complies with the Department of Transportation and Environmental Protection Agency regulations. They are also required to follow the Occupational Safety and Health Administration training standards.
